Wondering About Many Women
Gathering together poems written over a number of years, Derwent May’s Wondering About Many Women enchants not just with its freshness and candour, but also with its distinctive modernity.
Wry and witty, the persona at the centre of these poems evokes scenes and relationships that seem familiar but prove to be surprising and strange.
Using various verse forms, he probes subtly and musically into deep emotions that we are often unaware of.
Wondering About Many Women is an exuberant demonstration of the power of poetry.
