Endgame Poems New & Used
Endgame sees the poet Gordon Jarvie continuing the biographical approach of his major selected poems, A Man Passing Through: Memoirs with Poems (Greenwich Exchange, 2014).
Here are ruminations on mortality and advancing age, Scottish letters, landscape and local life, and time spent in Africa. A determination to live a life laced with laughter shines through. Jarvie's poems achieve sharp focus and emotional depths: this body of work will endure.
